As we eagerly count down to the end of July 2024, the Deadpool fandom is abuzz with anticipation for the forthcoming film. The excitement is tangible, with even Forbes getting in on the action, a clear sign of the increasing influence of POP culture ventures. But do I share Forbes’ viewpoint? Absolutely not, their assessment is far from the mark. I recently viewed the new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire, and while it wasn’t a disappointment, it felt like there was an overload of content in one narrative. It could have easily been divided into 2 or 3 distinct films. 
Amidst the whirlwind of the Deadpool and Wolverine promotion tour, there are some truly standout moments. The current material is of the highest quality, and one of the shining stars is the interview conducted by Fandango. Jacqueline Coley, the interviewer, masterfully balanced fun with the cast and director, all while unearthing some truly enlightening insights. It’s a feat that’s not easy to achieve, but she did it with finesse.
