Your meals and treats don’t need to be boring. A little planning and you can treat your taste buds to some different flavours.
Afternoon Tea
Stopping for afternoon tea or coffee can be a real treat and feel like a treat, which is the silver lining. Knowing what your plan allows is key.
A light afternoon tea could be coffee or tea, however, you have it with a biscuit or 2 per your plan. Or maybe you feel like grazing with a herbal tea or matcha, paired with a small bowl of grazing treats like a bit of fresh fruit and nuts.

Or Did Someone Say High-Tea?
If you’re not enjoying your meal plan, it’s time to invite some friends along. High tea in the afternoon typically means finger food and a selection of sandwiches to choose from. Weight Watchers (WW) has these recipes to check out.
Dining
Having special meals planned is something to look forward to. You can enjoy a glass of wine, whatever pre-dinner nibbles you are allowed to have (a few, we aren’t entering the Winter Olympics food festival here).
You can have a soup or a salad. Vegetable creamy soups can include pumpkin, potato and leek as well as a mushroom soup.
Mains can be a mix, do you feel like having an Asian inspired mela or a traditional roast meal with accompanying vegetables? Some links below.

Other ideas, particularly for warmer months, include adding some fresh fruit or raw vegetables with a dip to your diet.
Finish with a lovely dessert or light pudding and maybe a cup of coffee or tea. By planning your week and your meals, you will enjoy your food and feel satisfied. Tracking and meal planning are key, and walking around the shops is good for your body too.
